Hannah Resseger | B-Mor7 “is a multi-faceted artivist and educator committed to environmental and racial justice; evident in her art, spoken word, storytelling, and Hip Hop music. As a former Shri Studio teacher and school leader she is certified in Little Flower Yoga, Amrit Yoga, Laughter Yoga and Pre-Natal Yoga. When teaching youth she combines her passion for Martial Arts and immersion in Hip Hop culture with her yoga teachings in a style she created entitled “Lotus Warriors”. As a Hip Hop culture practitioner and teacher, she collaborates with like-minded artists around the globe while educating and empowering her elementary school students to create their own songs and music videos about social justice issues. She is also co-authoring a book entitled "The Fight For Critical Race Theory: Oppression Can Drive a Sane Person Mad” with her chapter “Infiltrating Education w/ the Black Literary Can(n)on."

Victoria Tolbert “is an educator, author, speaker, Army National Guard soldier, NOVA-certified Victim Advocate, and Master Resilience Trainer whose work explores resilience, identity, and the transformative power of life’s most intense moments. She spent 18 years as an educator in both private and public schools, bringing a deep understanding of child development, human development, emotional complexity, and the belief that all children can learn, succeed, and thrive. Her voice is shaped by both lived experience and professional leadership in trauma-informed spaces, as well as her service on the boards of the YWCA Rhode Island and Worship Arts Restoration, and her previous board roles with Youth Pride Inc. and Button Hole Golf Course. Across these roles, she consistently advocates for empowerment, healing, and access to supportive community spaces. She is the author of Silent Wars, Quiet Victories: A Poetic Journey to Reclaiming Me and The Storm That Cleared My Path, both of which explore trauma, identity, and the strength it takes to rebuild from within. Her work often lives in the tension between breaking and becoming, inviting others to see that what feels unbearable can also be a place of refinement. Victoria enjoys creating spaces where honesty and courage can coexist, reminding audiences that even in life’s most challenging moments, there is the potential for clarity, strength, and transformation.”

Debbie Valois ”Debbie Valois:

Debbie Valois “currently she teaches at yoga The Studio at NBX Bikes in Narragansett. She has been teaching yoga since 2001 (500 ERYT) at several studios in RI (and also 5 years in Dallas, TX). Debbie co-owned and operated Laughing Elephant Yoga in East Greenwich for 12 years with Lori Mancini (a Shri friend), and co-facilitated and designed their YTT. She had assisted and mentored for Shiva Rea and has studied with many senior/ international yoga teachers (and continues to do so). Debbie has also assisted and co-taught several 200 and 300 yoga teacher trainings with Coral Brown, who is another Shri friend. This year’s 200 YTT is almost wrapping up. Debbie has been a facilitator and facilitator trainer for The Embody Love Movement, which is a program that helps promote body positivity (physically and energetically). In addition to teaching more traditional vinyasa classes, she has also taught kids and teens yoga, and more recently started teaching an adaptive class to folks from the Holistic Development Center RI. Not starting until her mid forties, Debbie trained in Aerial performance for 7 years and still incorporates elements of that into her yoga practice and teaching (but is mostly not airborne these days). She was also Adult Team Captain (which is something that she was proud of) too. Growing up, Debbie was never part of team sports, but her ability to pull people together into a cohesive group has always been there. Debbie also finds great passion and joy in gardening and completed the URI Master Gardener program, and has enjoyed being in the dirt for years for work and play.”
