Shri Serves Students All Over the World
In addition to paid instruction time, Shri provides yoga mats, props and instructional materials to all the sites below with our teachers trained in the Shri Methodology while also providing continual, organizational support in a community-minded approach to advocate for both students and skillfully-trained teachers.

International Projects
Shri: In Colombia and Spain
In late 2022 and early 2023, Shri began supporting Shri Yoga Outreach Instructor, Masé Morales Ballesteros to teach free classes in a school in Spain. We added seniors classes in Barranquilla, Colombia, with Shri Yoga Outreach Instructor, Ani Richardson Nova. Using the Shri Curriculum they are both making connections in these countries with our methodology and offering free classes on a weekly basis, thanks to funding from our nonprofit arm.
Shri: In India
In December 2018, Shri began supporting Shri Yoga Outreach Instructor, Masé Morales Ballesteros! This is video from her Shri class in G.G.I.C Dugadda Pauri Garhwal, a girl’s school operated by the government. Mase is traveling for an entire year with her husband. You can follow them HERE.
Shri: In Cape Verde
In March of 2018, Shri Yoga Outreach Instructor, Lucy Rose, traveled to Cape Verde on a mission to build community, which included bringing parts of the Shri curriculum to children and adults. This adaptation of our program included mostly mindfulness activities around community art events including mandela drawing and expressive community-building events.
Shri: In Nepal
In April of 2018, Shri Yoga Outreach Instructor, Joanna Read, traveled to Nepal and visited two schools where she served more than 100 students with the Shri curriculum. During her time, Joanna went to a school where Shri supplies continued to be used with the students since our first sponsored trip in 2015. To support her and the community, Shri also sent Joanna off with gifts from our adaptive yoga students to share our culture with their school through arts and activities.
Shri: In Costa Rica
In 2017, Shri Yoga Outreach Instructor, Lucia Merino, brought the Shri School Project's curriculum to Costa Rica, and into Centro Educativo Buho Okhy, an elementary school in her hometown. For several months, Lucia was able to fully integrate the Shri methodology into several rural classroom's dedicated in a community-centric approach.
Shri: In Nepal
In 2015, Lauren Fiske traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal, from August to November 2015, bringing Shri's award-winning curriculum to more than 160 children and teachers at the LRI International School. Shri Service Corps shipped mats donated by Athleta to the school, which are still being used today! Joanna visited this school again three years later with the school's support and enthusiasm.
